Commissioned in 2014

The challenge was to create a knock-down desk that was easy to assembly by the end user. Snap is designed to be flat packed and easy to transport up in narrow staircases for a 3rd floor loft. I developed this table to be milled by a 2.5D CNC-mill from a single sheet of 18mm furniture grade birch plywood and to minimize material waste.
The top is finished with a waterborne polyurethane lacquer to create a wear-resistant surface.
